Acupuncture Course 2

  • Second of the Daoist Medicine Diploma Course running for four days in Glastonbury

This four-day event is the second set of dates for the Diploma training course being held in Glastonbury, UK

These four days will continue to look at the foundations of Tui Na massage, Acupuncture and the theory of Chinese medicine. Further exploration of diagnostics will be looked at along with practical training in therapeutic techniques. Note that this course is the second set of dates for the three year long Diploma course we are running and so consequently only those who have already been accepted onto the Diploma training are eligible to attend these dates.

The course takes place over four days in Compton Dundon, near Glastonbury.

Meadway Hall, Ham Lane, Compton Dundon, TA11 6PQ

There is also a larger hall ten minutes down the road where we will be holding the practical training for the course.

Each day runs from 9am until 5pm with an hour’s break for lunch. Students should find local accommodation in Glastonbury.

Students should bring with them adequate note taking material and, if possible, a massage table which will be an essential item for the duration of the course. This will obviously be difficult for those coming from other countries or those on public transport so it would be useful if you could let us know who is capable of bringing a table with them.

Applying for the Diploma

To apply for the Diploma training please contact us through the contact form on this website. We will send out an application form to you which should be filled in ASAP. Spaces on the training are very limited so please apply soon in order to be considered for the Diploma course.

The Nei Gong process taught by Damo Mitchell and Lotus Nei Gong is a classical process and is, at times, very strong. For this reason we do not recommend that anybody with psychological disorders or those with serious medical issues/needs attend these events. There are many ‘medical’ Qi Gong schools out there that would be more appropriate for these kinds of needs. Nei Gong is also not suitable for pregnant women or anybody under the age of 18 years old. Lastly we reserve the right to ask any student to leave the training immediately if we deem the training to be unsuitable for them or a risk to their well-being.
